Strengthening the role of consumers in the green transition

ES4S sent its official response to the EU consultation on engaging consumers in the green transition.

The team fully agrees on the fundamental role that consumers play in achieving the green transition since production is always based on the needs and preferences of consumers.

Engaging Society believes in the urgent need (at European and global level) for our society to better inform and inspire producers and consumers to move towards a new paradigm in which the rules are changed (that is, more is earned by producing or consuming less or differently) and where sustainable priorities are set by producers and consumers together.
